Step-by-Step Timeline

Day 1: Arrival & Orientation

Safe, sober shelter and warm meals.
Immediate intake and ID assistance.
Program briefing to explain the Do Good On Purpose housing pathway.

Day 2: Commitment & Connection

Drug screening and written sobriety contract.
Caseworker assigned for one-on-one support.
Introduction to HumanKind Helps volunteer credit program.

Day 3: Enrollment & Transition

Guests commit to next step or exit after 72 hours.
Move into Starter Village with a structured plan.
Begin earning mortgage credits through HumanKind Helps.

Month 6: Stability in Community

Continued sobriety and participation.
Growth through vocational training, recovery meetings, and volunteer work.
Transition into Good Samaritan Village (for civilians) or Permanent Party Village (for veterans).

Year 2: Homeownership & Independence

Completion of volunteer and credit requirements.
Title transfer of a permanent tiny home.
Full reintegration into community life with dignity and purpose.

Civilian & Veteran Pathways

Civilians: From Starter Village → Good Samaritan Village → Homeownership.
Veterans: From Starter Village → Permanent Party Village (with veteran-specific support) → Homeownership.

Commitment Rules

72-Hour Cap: Guests may stay for 72 hours only, unless they commit to the program.
Sobriety First: Every guest must agree to drug screening and sobriety.
ID Requirement: U.S. citizens only; we help secure missing IDs.
